Going to the Podcast and Portable Media Expo

I will be at the Podcast and Portable Media Expo in Ontario, California Sep 29 and 30th, looking to expand one of my client's products and services (Truffle Media Networks) and see what is new in the way people communicate and tell stories. I have plans to meet up with John from the M Show, Rob from Podcast 411, and Chris Brogan of www.chrisbrogan.com.

Key notes include Andrew Michael Baron of RocketBoom and Leo Laporte of TWiT.

There are some cool seminars on
  • Planning and Building a Podcast Production Studio
  • The 7 Deadly Sins of Business Podcasting (And How to Avoid Them)
  • Podcasting the Written Word

Is your pace of innovation fast enough?

I am providing some info at the Indiana Biomedical Entrepreneur Network (IBEN) Oct 3rd, 2006 on innovation culture and environment. Please register to help IBEN know how many people are showing up. It is free and is a great networking event for those interested in life science and starting up a company.

Ready to travel to market your idea or product?

Starting today Scott McCloud and his family are making a tour of all 50 US states plus a few other countries (Canada/Mexico) to promote his new book Making Comics. This is a fully captured experience to promote the book: The official tour blog, the podcast, and the live visits to give talks and seminars.

Can you think of ways to really create the experience about your product that goes beyond the traditional marketing and promotional assumptions of your product or service?
